As a Mother of three (born 2015, and twins 2017), Psychotherapist, and Professor of Psychology I believe I have various strengths and the ability connect to client concerns. The work of a Psychotherapist sometimes means to be nurturing like a Mother, insightful as a Therapist, but also an Educator that teaches skills.
I work with a range of clients from adolescents to adults with experience in group, family, and individual psychotherapy. My focus is to help clients gain insight into their concerns, gain an empowered sense of self, internalize a range of coping skills, and minimize negative influences.
I believe in the mind-body connection and uses mindfulness techniques as a way of connecting differently to thoughts and emotions. I am also a RYT 200 (Registered Yoga Teacher).
Professional Development: Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, DBT, Substance Use Disorders & Recovery, Sandtray, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Kandi Deutsch earned a Master of Education in Counseling Services from William Paterson University and is a Licensed Associate Counselor in New Jersey.
I believe in the transformative power of connection. The therapeutic relationship, one in which you feel supported, heard, and understood, is central to my work as a therapist and it is in the context of this relationship that growth and healing take place. My clients are encouraged to come as they are and can expect to be met with warmth, acceptance, compassion, and honesty. And a little humor, too.
While I utilize a theoretically integrated approach, my practice is grounded in a strength-based, person-centered, relational framework. I support clients in developing self-compassion and a deeper understanding of themselves for a greater sense of well-being. I am drawn to helping clients navigate the ups and downs of life's transitions and the worry that often comes with those shifts. We'll work together through the hard stuff and find the path forward that feels most true to you. One area of transition that I'm particularly passionate about is parenthood. Parental stress can be intense! Nurturing the well-being of parents holds an important place in my heart. Parents deserve to feel supported as they do the hard and often messy work of raising children. This passion has fueled my clinical work with children and families, my support of new families as a postpartum doula, and my advanced education in infant and early childhood mental health.
I am deeply grateful to do this work and to join clients on their healing journeys. Wherever you are in that process, I'll meet you there.

I have worked as a counselor since 2013 with children, adolescents and adults in therapeutic, in home and academic settings. My specialty is working with adolescents and young adults to help them lead happier and more harmonious lives. I have experience with children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of issues including school refusal, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders and am LGBTQIA+ friendly. I believe it is important to help clients gain awareness about themselves and environment by connecting their thoughts to their behaviors to accomplish their treatment goals.
I also believe that there is no one-size-fits-all to therapy. Each individual is unique, and I tailor my approach to each client’s needs and goals. I take the time to understand exactly what you are experiencing so you can start making changes to improve your life. I use empathy and warmth to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel comfortable to process and heal. Christine Vazzano LPC NBCC
Therapist
Christine Vazzano earned a MS in Mental Health Counseling from MonmouthUniversity in West Long Branch, New Jersey. She is a DBT informed therapist. She completed her EMDR training from the EMDR Institute, Inc.
I have worked over 10 years helping individuals find relief by working through their unique challenges in their lives by reflecting, reframing, and rebuilding a healthier sense of self. I believe trust, empathy, and compassion towards oneself and others is what holds a strong foundation for any relationship; personal or therapeutic.
My motivation in this field is to help individuals improve their confidence in knowing how to navigate making decisions and better manage negativity that gets in the way of living day to day. Together, we build more awareness of unhealthy patterns, build mastery with coping skills, and develop a more positive lifestyle.
My focus is to sit alongside and help guide my adult clients with a wide range of emotional and social needs including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship issues, self identity and self esteem issues, trauma, life transitions, and coping skill education.
I have experience with group, family, couples and individual psychotherapy. I provide EMDR therapy as a bridge to help clients gain space and reach a sense of clarity in areas that constrain their day to day living.
We all have the ability to make change and improve our lives. Finding someone to help guide us in the right direction is the first step.
